Freya Pointer studied Theatre Costume Interpretation at Wimbledon School of Art, graduating with a BA Hons in 2001.
She has worked extensively both making and supervising the making of costumes. Productions include; Cinderella (Palace Theatre, Westcliffe on Sea), The Prince & The Pauper (London Children’s Ballet), Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (MBA Costumes), Bananas in Pyjamas (Rainbow Productions), Noddy Live (Rainbow Productions) 101 Dalmatians (Nuffield Theatre), The Last Obit (New End Theatre), The Crystal Den (New End Theatre).
Freya worked as a Production Assistant and Buyer for Rainbow productions, specialising in costume prop and puppetry projects for companies such as ITV, DC Comics, Woolworths, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland and Aardman Animations.
Productions as Wardrobe Assisstant and Supervisor include; Swan Lake, The Nutcracker (English National Ballet), Grease (Palace Theatre, London) and five European tours for Diva Opera; Carmen, Die Fledermaus, Cosi Fan Tutte, Le Nozze Di Figaro, La Bohemme, Rigoletto, Chez Maxim, Lucia Di Lammermoor, La Cenorentola, Die Entfuhrung Aus Dem Serail, Don Giovanni, La Traviata and Don Pasquale.
